Hippity Hoppity, Easter's on its Way!

What a nice week we've had!  Nick's school had Easter break this week-- Becky and Olivia were thrilled to have him home more!  Here's Olivia showing her appreciation to LMU by having some Lion pride :)

Nick worked really hard during his break.  He is almost finished with his first draft of his feature film script (ahead of schedule!).  He also interviewed for a couple internships and was offered a position at one, which he accepted!  Nick is now an intern for the Gilbert Films production company, which will be a great opportunity for him to start getting some experience in the film industry.

Last Wednesday, Miss Olivia hit the 4 month mark, woot woot!

We had a lovely Easter today.  After church, we came home and cooked a little Easter feast: ham, rolls, and Nick-friendly green bean casserole.  Olivia was even generous enough to take a long nap so Nick and Becky could enjoy their yummy meal!

The food was delicious and the baby was adorable, but the best part of Easter is remembering what it's really for-- celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  We are so grateful for the knowledge that the Savior lives, and we know that He loves us and is always there for us.

First Day of Spring!

Well it may be spring, but Miss Olivia has been fighting a stuffy nose for the past week (and was kind enough to share it with her parents...).  We are all starting to feel better, but Olivia still continues to be a little more clingy than her normal clingyness (is that a word?  Oh well.).  But for not always feeling her best, she is still a very good tempered baby.

Olivia loves to drool-- add that to her obsession with sucking on her hands, and you've got one wet, slightly slimy baby!  She goes through a couple bibs a day if we want her outfit to stay dry, but that's ok!

Spring Break!

Don't get us wrong, we loved our time at BYU...but it sure was nice to finally get a spring break!  Nick had a good long break from grad school classes, so we spent the last week and a half visiting his family in Georgia!  It was Olivia's first plane ride, and even though it was a long one (4 hours!) she was very well behaved and slept the majority of the time.

Most people like to go to warm places like the beach on spring break, but we did the opposite.  When we left LA it was sunny and 80 degrees, and when we got to Georgia it was windy and 40 degrees!  It warmed up for a few days but it was pretty chilly for us Californians while we were there.  We had a great time, though!  Nick got to play Legos, Becky got to sew (and watch the Ellen DeGeneres show!), and Olivia got to get spoiled by her grandparents and Uncle Josh!  We also got to celebrate Josh's 13th birthday and visit the Georgia Aquarium, which was lots of fun.  Here's some pictures of some of the stuff we did!

Olivia was starting to get tired from all the excitement...
