Halloween Time!

Goodness, is it really almost November?!  October seems to have gone by very quickly, but unfortunately we have been pretty boring.  Nick goes to school, Becky goes to work, and Baby Girl goes to the doctor every 2 weeks.  The neonatologist is still monitoring her growth--she's still just on the small side of growth patterns, but he assures us that she is indeed growing.  Right now she is a little more than 3 pounds and LOVES to move, all the time.

Nick's parents were in town this past week so we used that as an excuse to visit Hollywood Boulevard again  with his mom.  Here's us with the hand/footprints of the Harry Potter stars:

Why yes, we did both get haircuts, thank you for noticing!
Then, we drove on up to the Warner Brothers Studio and got to go to a filming of Conan O'Brien!  It was a lot of walking, but we got to see the some of the rooftops of Stars Hollow!  Totally worth it.  Once we were sitting in the studio and waiting for the show to start, a comedian came out to "warm" the crowd up and get us excited for the show.  He was joking around and talking to a couple audience members who both happened to be pregnant, and then asked "Who else in here is pregnant?"  So Becky raised her hand, and the comedian talked with both of us for a couple minutes, which was pretty cool.

Saturday was our ward Halloween party!  There was lots of yummy food and lots of adorable kids running around.  We made chili for the cook-off contest and actually won!  The only downside was since people thought it was so tasty, there were no leftovers for us to bring home at the end of the activity.  Oh well.

Nick working on our soon-to-be award winning chili!

We went as black-eyed "P"s-- the adults in our ward found it hilarious, but we tried explaining it to a couple primary kids and they just gave us blank stares...
33 week baby bump picture, woot woot!
As for our actual Halloween night plans, we'll probably just relax at home-- we're not expecting many trick-or-treaters since we live in a gated complex.  We'll eat leftover candy and Nick will force Becky to watch a scary movie in the dark...oh what a wonderful holiday.

Happy Halloween!!
